How to register online for a Spanish language course in Spain with UniSpain

Ready to book your Spanish language course in Spain?

If so, you are probably reading this post to find out whether it will cost you anything extra to register with UniSpain, and how things work on our online registration page.

  • No, UniSpain will not charge you an extra registration fee. Language schools in Spain normally charge a registration fee, but we will not ask you for one on top.
  • Read our step-by-step registration guide below. You’ll find out how the process works before you try it.

Not familiar with UniSpain?

Who are we? UniSpain is an agency offering Spanish language courses in 43 different language schools all around Spain. We only specialise in Spanish courses in Spain, which is why our range of language schools is broader than other agencies’ in the same niche. We have been around for over 10 years, so we have solid experience in the market.

Discount. All of our course fees carry a 5% discount. This means that booking a UniSpain Spanish course works out cheaper than booking directly with a school. This is thanks to a special commission we have negotiated with all the Spanish language schools and universities we currently work with.

What’s in it for us? We pass part of this discount onto you, the student. This is a win-win system that benefits everybody. You get better value for money and we earn a commission from the language schools.

Not chosen a course yet? Then we recommend that you consider this carefully before registering. You’ll have some important decisions to make first, like choosing a destination, the course length, a suitable school and identifying your language level. Check out our Course Finder to help you discover which course suits you best.

OK, I’m ready to register!

Right, let’s get down to business. Here is an exact breakdown of what happens during the online registration process on UniSpain’s website. We will cover the details that you need to fill in on the three-part registration form, and how payment works.

Finding the registration form

Let’s start on UniSpain’s home page. Click on the Registration menu at the top of the page.

You are now on page 1 of the Registration Form:

1. Course Details

First, you’ll see bullet-pointed information about the benefits of booking with UniSpain. (Including our discount and the free online language course you’ll receive when you’ve paid for the course).

Next, you’ll need to fill in the course details:

  • Where you want to study, the school you have chosen, the course you have chosen, and the start date and duration of the course.
  • Next, you need to tell us if you want accommodation. If so, what type?
  • Finally, tell us if you want the optional travel insurance.

You’ll now see a breakdown of the total price at the bottom of the page. Check this carefully.

Now click on CONTINUE…

2. Personal Details

On this page you’ll again see your course details and price.

  • Below, you’ll need to fill in your name, surname, date of birth, gender, country and your email address. Don’t worry, UniSpain abides by strict EU data protection legislation and will only ever share your details with the school you are booking with.
  • You can also leave us a message in Comments, like questions, special requirements, etc.
  • Finally, read and tick the box for our Terms & Conditions.

3. Payment Options

Here you will once again see your booking information. Please check it carefully, as you are now on the payment page.

Please also note that UniSpain is SLL certified for safe payment.

  • Choose your payment amount: a non-refundable deposit or the full amount.
  • Now choose your payment method: credit card, PayPal or bank transfer. PayPal and credit card are instantly confirmed. If you choose to pay by bank transfer, UniSpain may take up to a week to confirm the receipt of the money and the booking.
  • You also have the option to pay nothing at this stage. In this case, click pay later.

Thank you

You’ll now be on the final page. Thank you for registering with us.

This final message will run you through registration you’ve just completed. It also includes things like links to our blog and UniSpain’s Spanish Study Guide, which you can download for free.

Finally, you will now receive a confirmation email about your course.

The confirmation email

Once you have completed the online registration process, you’ll receive an email from UniSpain.

  • In this message we’ll confirm your personal details, the course dates and prices and the accommodation dates and cost.
  • We’ll also prompt you to tell us your language level, if you have not told us this already. Your course dates may vary depending on the places available for different Spanish proficiency levels, so read the email carefully and get back to us as soon as you can, to confirm any pending details.
  • You will also see a reminder of the payment options if you haven’t paid the full amount yet. Remember, the course will not be booked and held until you pay at least a deposit.
